Meeting Information


The TDO User Meeting and Scientific Session will be held on Thursday, October 1st to Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 in San Diego. The meeting will take place at the Paradise Point Resort & Spa, a private luxury resort nestled on Mission Bay. We urge you to take advantage of these in-depth training sessions and this exceptional opportunity to meet your fellow TDO'ers and the TDO Team. We will be offering 16 Continuing Education credits for the meeting.



This year the TDO Meeting will include:

  • TDO Scientific Session: Cone Beam Imaging and Endodontics for all clinicians on Thursday, October 1st
  • Two full days of TDO training sessions for doctors, staff and guests, including track for assistants, clinicians and new and advanced users
  • Mock operatory setup & TDO computer lab
  • Reception with dinner and entertainment
  • Complimentary transportation from hotel room to conference center via the Paradise Point Tram service
  • 10% discount for Spa services
  • 10% discount for Island Market merchandise
  • 16 Continuing Education credits

On Thursday, October 1st, the Scientific Session will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. for all doctors. After the meeting concludes on Thursday, there will be an Open House at Dr. Gary Carr’s office from 3 to 6 p.m. (View Map). We hope that you are able to make it!

In addition, lunch will be hosted at the Pacific Endodontic Research Foundation (PERF) immediately following the Scientific Session on Thursday. Transportation will be provided as well (to and from PERF), so please be sure to come and enjoy lunch with us on this day! PERF will be open from 12:30 to 4 p.m.

The TDO User Meeting will take place on Friday, October 2nd from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, October 3rd from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Also, please note that on each day of the meeting breakfast will be served at 7 a.m. and lunch will be served at 12 noon.

The TDO Meeting Reception, including dinner and entertainment, will be held Friday evening from 7 to 10 p.m. at Paradise Point. Please check the complete Schedule of Events for more details.

Travel Recommendations:

The Paradise Point Resort & Spa is located on Mission Bay and is approximately 6 miles from the San Diego International Airport (SAN). Paradise Point is a full-service resort and spa with excellent features such as five pools, a private marina, golf course, fitness center, tennis courts and much more! Transportation from the airport is about $12.00 per person using the Cloud 9 Shuttle service. Be sure to make your reservation ahead of time.

The room rate will be discounted to $229 per night for the Lanai Garden Rooms (the regular cost is $435). To make your reservation, click here or call (800) 344-2626 and reference “TDO” or “The Digital Office”. In the Lanai Garden, you may choose a room with one king bed or two queen beds. The deadline for the discounted rate is August 26th, 2009. Please do not delay in making your reservation--it is likely the hotel will become sold out!
